TIP #1
Grab a soft toothbrush, add a dab of toothpaste, and scrub your jewelry!
Yes, toothpaste makes for an excellent jewelry cleaner when you’ve run out of the more conventional stuff.
Be sure to gently scrub while rinsing to ensure a clean finish.
Recommended for use only on gold, precious stones (diamonds), or semi-precious stones (rubies, emeralds, etc.).
Do not use on stones that can be easily scratched such as gemstones, opals, or pearls.
TIP #2
I don’t know what it is about toothpaste that makes this next tip work… all I know is that it works!
Got a pimple that’s red? Not a problem…
Put a dab of toothpaste on the red spot and the redness will diminish.
I will usually do this at bedtime. Wait until the toothpaste has dried on your face before hopping into bed or you can be sure you’ll wake up to toothpaste smudges on your pillow.
